EZ Pawn in houston, 45N and Parker... i had a layaway a laptop for my granddaughter, when it was time for me to take out 12/28/08- they told me that corporate office called them to take out all that was in layway.

My laptop had been sold. The employees said that they will give me a credit slip minus the 20% restocking. Why should i pay the restocking fee, if i didn't put it back. My payments were current and on time.

I called the corp office and dealt with a Stephanie, who was rude to me, customer service. Someone better do something about this rudeness of all employees of EZ Pawn, they are a rip off.

Purchased a shotgun from the EZ Pawn in Odessa, Texas located off University street. When I looked at the shotgun, it was beautiful, no scratches, no dings, like new condition.

As we finished up the purchase the girl took the firearm to the back of the store, and I nicely told her,' please don't bang that gun up. It's too pretty," We finished the transaction, over 800.00, she put the shotgun in the worthless hard case they gave us, and when we got it home, the butt stock was scratched, and had gouges in it that I KNOW were NOT there when I made the initial purchase. I have spent thousands of dollars in your stores in Odessa, Brownwood, and Abilene. I have on MANY occasions, gone to both locations in Odessa , where there was no recognition of my presence, I could not get any help, and when I asked for assistance, I was told to wait in rude way, and I was left standing there.

Your employees need lessons in 1) Customer Service--not just to the people they know 2) They definitely need lessons in the proper handling of firearms! Condition is 90% of the value of a a firearm, NOT just the ability to operate properly and safely, but also the cosmetic aspect. To collectors, it is of the UTMOST importance. To be disregarded, ESPECIALLY after being asked to be careful, is nothing short of total disrespect for a customer!!

You need to find a consultant, to go into each of your stores and properly train your employees in the IMPORTANCE of customer service!

As I walked through your stores in Odessa today, I noticed that they do not even clean up items before they are put on the floor for sale. How can you expect a customer to BUY a vacuum cleaner for $200 when it is filthy and the canister is full of dirt, dust and hair? Seriously, are you in business to LOSE money or do you want to make money?

After years of doing business, today's experience just may be the straw that broke the camel's back....incompetence has lost you a money spending customer...NOT a pawner, but an actual CASH BUYER. I have to wonder if you are proud of the nickname "SLEAZY Pawn"..

Your comment is rude. People pawn for various reasons and many of them actually use pawn shops as a means to get money in an emergency , when banks are closed or they are short of a pay day.

Until you walk in their shoes, you cannot judge them in such an offensive manner.

A legal Pawn is a CONTRACT, no different than going to the bank and putting up your car or house as collateral. Just because you don't pawn doesn't mean that those who do deserves to be mistreated or taken advantage of.

Murray Colorado Springs, CO 80916 phone (719) 574-**** the employees never explain nothing to customer before they buy something from or when people put a layaway they never explain that they will charge $10 dollar to an item in layaway. my advise is to everybody not to go to those places also the manager is extremy rudness with customers.

i pawned my gold necklace about 6 months ago. i went and pick it up about a week later i need some more money to fix my car i took the same necklace they gave me back to them to repawn it and they told me it was fake . found out they are swtiching gold and giving people back fake gold when they pick up their items after pawning them jackson mississippi

My husband and I have a 42 inch Samsung 3d plasma tv and we had called ez pawn and asked for an estimate of how muchbwe could get for the tv. We gave him the model number and everything and he told us 300.

The next day we had brought the tv up there and talked to the same guy and thenhe dropped it down to 150. We were really upset considering the night before he had said 300 and then we get up there and then he cuts the price in half. When we asked why he cut the price in half he had no explination.

The thing that disturbes us the most is the guy we dealt with was the store manger. I just dont understand how it could go from 300 with the model number and down to 150 with the same model number, when the tv is basically new.

EZ Pawn in Houston, Lyons Avenue...I have also encountered extreme rudeness and disrespect. The supervisor, who's name is Nick, was very unprofessional in his demeanor and choice of words.

I agree with the comments of complaint against EZ Pawn.

I will not use EZ Pawn anymore because they are not worth the hassle. Either change EZ's employees, or continue to lose more and more customers/potential customers.
